Incremental Innovation: Taking Care of the Pipeline

  • Nov 23, 2025

Have you ever tried filling a planter without checking whether the rows are unclogged? The result is failure in the field. Innovation works the same way. There’s no point trying to speed up if your project pipeline isn’t organized.

Incremental innovation means improving what already exists, step by step. In agriculture, this might be a more efficient sprayer, a seed with stronger vigor, or a faster commercial process. But if these projects aren’t well managed, the energy gets lost along the way.

A good pipeline works like a crop calendar. It shows what’s ready to harvest, what still needs testing, and what should be replanted. 🌱 It’s what ensures a solid foundation before aiming for something bigger.

Here’s my challenge: take a look at your innovation funnel today. What needs pruning? What deserves priority? Organizing is the first step toward harvesting results.
